On the small rural streets – we did not get a “welcome sign” – so Google said “Welcome to Tennessee”Our first stop in Tennessee was Lillydale Cape CampgroundWe got a nice site … but no waterfront this time.Dale Hollow Lake is amazing – with all the island, lake arms, forest down to the lake – very beautiful.Lot’s of little islands on the lake … and it is a boating paradise.Sunset Time 🙂Next stop was Cumberland Mountain State Park – with a very private campsite in the forest.Nice trails … along the Byrd Lake and Byrd CreekThe Byrd Creek Dam retains a reservoir that covers approximately 50 acres – build in 1935 – 1938 by the CCC.And an interesting bridge 🙂 – an Eagle Scout Project
